The distribution and servicing operations for Volvo Trucks and Buses currently carried out by Ascendum Camiões in the Central region of Portugal will be taken over by Nors Trucks and Buses Portugal VT. This transition is part of a reorganization of Volvo Trucks’ operations in Portugal and is primarily focused on ensuring continuity for customers, partners, and employees.
From August 4, 2026, Nors Trucks and Buses Portugal VT will take over the Volvo trucks and buses distribution and service operations currently carried out by Ascendum Camiões in Central Portugal. This transition ensures continuity for customers and partners while retaining the expertise, experience and market proximity built by the teams serving the region over many years.
The operation covers dealerships in the Central region and includes the integration of approximately 80 employees, ensuring uninterrupted customer support and service throughout the area.
